VCC (Vanny’s Colour Challenge) is created in order to challenge and entice your creative mind. In addition we would like you all to have fun with the challenge and get to know other colourlovers.

There are two types of VCC: Community and Personal (formerly Individual). What is the difference?

In VCC Community, you will use the provided a combination of colours on this thread to make a palette based on the corresponding theme.

You can challenge other lovers in person by sending a set of two colours via love note. This is called VCC Personal.
Please note Challenge must to mention who sent you the Personal challenge in your palette description. Each entry also has to follow the current theme, so challengers must included Month and Week # in your love note.

The following are the guideline in submitting your VCC palette:
1. Use VCC colour combo to make a pallete
2. Each palette must contains 5 colours
3. Inspiration of your palette must be based on the corresponding theme
4. You must include "[VCC]" on your title
e.g.: [VCC] Interesting
5. You MUST tag your palettes VCC
6. On your palette description please mention:
VCC Community or Personal
Challenged by: (only if this is a personal challenge)
Month: Week # (Will be indicated on colour posting)
THeme:
Colours:
#HEX#
#Hex#

• Theme will be updated together with VCC Community (the theme changes everytime there's a new set of Community Colours)
• There is no limit on how many times you can create palettes based on one set of VCC colour combos

Hello everybody.
I just want to let you all know that as of today, there are 523 VCC Palletes.
Thank you all for participating!! It has been a good 1 year since VCC start.
We have gone through various website upgrades, a couple of months of forum hiatus, two revisions of participation rules and dozens of colour sets.

I'm looking forward for your entry and continuous support!
Thank you Darius for creating this website!!

colourLOVE,
Vanny

Vanny, people will get back in the groove with time. They may just need to see some VCCs floating around to jog their mems.

Holy MOSES, I finally figured out what this means. LOL. I gotta tell you, it's kind of hard to navigate this site sometimes and figure out where everything is. I had 3 people send me challenges and I had NO idea what VCC meant or what the challenge was or where it came from. I've been coming here a month and just NOW discovered these forums.

Whew. I was so confused. ;)

Thanks all~

artsykerley

How do you do that?

Morriconei

Badge of honor.

I just copied the image from vaneea's profile, saved it in Photoshop, and put it on Photobucket.

vaneea

Thank you =)

I will be making more signs =D
If you want you can make one and send it to me =)
If I like it then I'll post it.

peachbelle

It would be nice if the VCC logo could be hyperlinked to a page showing all the VCC palettes, and instructions on what it is all about.

My sincerest apologies for not posting this in the proper place but the "bugs" thread is not letting me post.

For some reason a whole heap of stuff doesn't seem to be working properly. Noone's palettes/patterns are showing up on their profiles, just the bio and recent comments, I can't edit anything and none of the drop down menus are working.

Is this happening to anyone else or is it just me?

I just love this. The peachy colours look so calming and serene and then there's the grey and the turquoise which gives off a 50's feel (which I just love on its own). It's a perfect colour palette for this summer.
